Tugend LLC has filed two companion provisional patent applications covering the core intellectual property behind our nanomachines research program.
The first application covers a fabrication method for producing the devices. The second covers a custom swarm-control algorithm for coordinating them in operation. The two filings are designed to be used together.
Beyond that, we are intentionally saying very little in public. Additional technical detail will be shared under NDA with qualified partners, prospective licensees, and diligence counterparties.
The initial designs are being developed with two distinct end-uses in mind.
Nanoscale devices designed for medical applications. Development is proceeding under Tugend's standing commitment to safety, informed consent, and regulatory alignment — the same commitments that govern every platform we build.
Nanoscale devices designed for construction and materials applications. Coordinated behavior at scale is one of the central engineering challenges — and the reason the swarm-control filing accompanies the fabrication filing.
The program is deliberately staged. Design and simulation work is underway now. Physical production of the devices remains in the initial planning and coordination phase — with the appropriate fabrication partners, safety-review counterparts, and regulatory pathways being scoped before any hardware is built.
Tugend does not intend to ship a nanoscale product into the world quickly. We intend to ship one responsibly.
Additional technical detail — including patent application specifics, simulation results, and roadmap — is available under NDA.
